Curator's note:
"...The word 'symmetry' is defined as the most important feature of both physical and abstract systems. This word shapes our outlook on life like a delusion, as well as determining the path to achieving perfection and the most beautiful. As the eye/mind gets used to the perfection of proportions, balanced bodies, and images, it begins to struggle to perceive the different and starts to see everything contrary to the nature of things as 'other' due to this conditioning. The delusion of humanity that everything in nature is 'symmetrical' is actually not a stance equivalent to reality. In fact, nothing in nature, including the human body, has perfect and symmetrical proportions on a micro and macro scale. Scientific studies show that the asymmetries, which we do not notice, construct what is natural and aesthetic. All the asymmetries that exist in every detail of nature, which we are not aware of, actually create the nuances that build the notion of perfection in our minds in the context of aesthetics. Every phenomenon we see, perceive, think, and feel is strengthened and beautified by its differences. The ZİÇEV students, heroes, and their families, whom you will observe in this exhibition, convey this perfect harmony with all their reality. We invite you to experience the independent expression possibilities and to test your empathy power within the perfect balance created by 'asymmetries' in the exhibition. With a true, sincere, ordinary, and interactive face...."
